The one-paragraph pitch

On the shores of the Still Lake, magic is not commanded — it is received. Every gift drawn from the water leaves a ripple, and ripples do not care when they land. Chronicles of the Still Lake is a quiet, character-driven epic about the ones who listen, the ones who reach, and the price the water keeps — a new series arriving first as a free Royal Road serial, its full first trilogy releasing within a year of Book One, each book finished before the one before it launches.
